I love Phoebe Bridgers so much. Funnily it wasn´t me, but my 57 year old Dad, who discovered her and spammed me on whatsapp with her songs until I finally really listened and started loving her. Ever since then, Phoebe (and other artist in that genre like Alice Phoebe Lou or Courtney Barnett) has been something that my Dad and I bond over. We keep sending each other new discoveries and just rn l sent this video to him (I expect he´s gonna answer that he already knows it and I´m way behind on what´s happening in the music world). Our mutual dream is to see Phoebe live on stage and we hope one day she´ll come to the south of Germany and play a concert. I´m so looking forward to this day. Thanks Phoebe for strenghtening the connection with my dad so much.

I'm the 41 year old daughter of one of the best dads to ever exist and unfortunately, he passed away a few days ago. I probably am Phoebe's typical demographic but I never looked into her or Arlo Park's music but this has inspired me to. Not sure it'll help my fragile state of mind while grieving but in case I ever wake up and say "Wow I really am not bored of crying all day so let me turn on one of the most beautiful covers of Fake Plastic Trees", I can now do so :) Also, the comment section is one of the best I've seen in a while. I'm even willing to listen to the extremely loud and startling "BBC RADIO 1" intro that has probably busted someone's ear drum by now. In conclusion, amazing cover of an amazing song by amazing artists!

Damn singing chops on display. Honest to the emotional rise and fall of the song. My eyes were wet just after the crescendo, as per usual with this song. Pheobs, nice job. PB was qued and inspired by that beautiful Arlo Parks piano rendition and arrangement. Also true to the original. Stellar performance. TY and Radiohead well honored.
