Yeah, as soon as I heard her speaking voice, it was interestingly resonant to my own - deep but childish at the same time. unfortunately i wasn't blessed with such a contrastingly high and gentle singing voice!

Phoebe dismissing "Waiting Room" as a song she wrote when she was a teenager makes me wish she appreciated that song more because if any adult could write a song even half as good as it, they would be doing well. I've really only got to know this song in the last week and I just love it so much.

The composition is wonderful, but I imagine some of the lyrics feel a little awkward as an adult. The opening couple of lines especially. It's an interesting song when you look at it in the context of other songs she's written about life experiences though.

Ya idk why I've seen so many comments like this, your wishes have been a Google search away for probably about 15 years since the beginning of KZbin. All anyone has ever had to do to have anything you want as an mp3 is Google KZbin to mp3, there's tons of sites. Same for SoundCloud or Bandcamp or probably anything else. You can do it right on your phone too, don't even need a computer. Then you got the raw sound files on your phone to use in whatever music player ya want. Easy, free, no worrying about availability, apps, connection, streaming, data, or anything at all ; )

i'm sure he's been in the room with plenty of talented musicians and eventually just got desensitized to most of it. i grew up with live music and still play in a band around town, i'm in the host's camp with not freaking out about it. not to say i didn't enjoy this performance, i did, but it's obviously in her range to belt out that note
