Phoebe Snow (born Phoebe Ann Laub) was born on this day in 1950. She was born in New York city to Jewish parents and grew up in a very musical family. Phoebe Snow suffered a cerebral hemorrhage on January 19, 2010, and slipped into a coma, She died on April 26, 2011, at age 60. Her voice was crystal clear, a soaring soprano with an extensive range. "Poetry Man," music and lyric by Phoene Snow. May her memory be a blessing.
