I think the lack of over the top professional makeup, the relaxed at-home feel combined with enough rest also adds to it. Yes. I kind of wish there had been more than a passing comment about the Commonwealth as she remains Queen of a number of countries including Canada but the situation in the UK is much worse than here. When I was young I had my doubts about the merits of remaining a Constitutional Monarchy but over time the continuity of the Queen has become so important. However good or bad your govt. there is always the Queen. I think it will be quite hard when that isn't the case just because for my entire life in Canada she's been there . ( Although the country I was born in also has a queen ) She has had so many memorable moments but with so many friends in the UK I was happy for any comfort or fortitude they drew from her words.

She was hilarious in her guest appearance as "India" in Bad Education (BBC TV comedy series about a terrible school) - the episode is called "Drugs" or "Drugs Education". She comes into the school as a drugs expert to lecture the kids ... and instead teaches them how to go out clubbing! Naturally, the love-lorn teacher who is the main star of the show tries to woo this gorgeous hippy chick - ending up helping his class to try to make drugs in the science lab, so he can go to an underground rave with her, and pretend he's had loads of drugs experiences (he hasn't).
