My favourite thing to do on Valentine’s Day is to stand outside a nice restaurant and shout “well you’ve moved on pretty quickly!” at random couple going in.

Yay!! Valentine’s Day is my Birthday! Despite my romanticism, I agree: it’s a man-made, profit-motivated burden on many- and can be brutal….until you get your own values & priorities straightened out:) Happily married now, but was in an abusive relationship yrs ago- so I can say from experience V-Day can exacerbate loneliness & pain. At 26 I worked in a hospital on Valentine’s b’day and it seemed I was the only human there who didn’t get flowers or a love card! Pitiful- until the Lord who loves me spoke up loud & clear- “I’ll never leave you or forsake you; I’ve called you by name and you are *mine*.” THANK YOU! #lovedunconditionally

PS After listening I went to our usual Wed. session. We started right into practicing Contra sets because we are playing to a Contra Dance Saturday. That's hard for us because we like to practice on stage in the old folk way. I all at once couldn't take it and sang John Prines "Dear Abbie" for Valentines day. Felt good!!!!!

I have wanted to learn to play banjo before in the past but have no clue what kind of banjo to get and what the difference is between 4-string and 5-string banjo's besides another string and whether you really need another string or not. Maybe you could do a video about banjos and what might be good for someone starting to learn? Just a thought. Take care!
