Thank you so much for that pleasant, soothing medley of banjo tunes. I certainly appreciated it, and I’m sure many other viewers did too. I’m watching from Charlotte, North Carolina, and as far as I know, thanks be to God, Charlotte escaped the worst of the damage from Hurricane Helene. Communities north and west of us were not so fortunate. Some cities and towns in Western North Carolina are in desperate need of emergency supplies. Please continue to pray for us and for all those affected. Thank you for all you do.

Thank you Phoebe. I love watching and listening to folks play their instruments live. So many really talented musicians, pre-record their songs and then mime it back to create the videos, which sounds good (as they're meant to) but never as good as a live performance (hiccups and all). (edit) - that was the best 16:41 seconds I spent all day. Thank you

Thank you, Phoebe - I'm putting that one in my palylist I have for when I'm cleaning windows - my day job at 73 :) So lovely on the melodic gourd banjo (Jesse Head's handmade instrument), and I think your idea of 'daily dose of Banjo' is a very helpful and encouraging one :) - because it can give folks a 'lift' and bring joy into their hearts. I guess you already believe that God has given you the grace-ability to play, and also the ability to establish and produce yer own KZbin channel! I just feel that your stuff - your programs - are inspirational. I'm safe saying that, because I live in Perth, Australia, and far away from any tennis ball you might throw at me! ;) I've also got some Béla Fleck stuff on my window cleaning 'playlist' - and his story of how he came to the banjo could have some similarities to yours. An abbreviated version of that is found here : - kzbin.info/www/bejne/anbWgo1vib2pm8U Gregg from Perth! (yeah, my wife somehow 'stole' my account - it's a long story! ;) :)

I appreciate the video, and I wish I could have taken a second to enjoy some banjo music when it was posted. It's now been almost a week since the hurricane hit and I just got home from an out-of-town work assignment cutting trees and clearing roads in badly affected areas of my state. We were on the ground since Friday morning when the storms passed and I haven't had a moment of break until coming back today. After many days of hard work and nights spent sleeping on the floor of a local fire station, I can finally take a minute to breathe and relax. Your contribution is welcome, even if it may not seem like much. Thank you!

Thank you so much for the lovely music and the good wishes you sent out this afternoon. I was getting ready to cook dinner (veggie burgers) when I saw the alert pop up. That convinced me to hop into the car and venture out to seek the lettuce we needed for our burgers. I had decided to forego lettuce in order to avoid driving, with so many stoplights out around here, and with so few stores with any perishable produce because of the power outages, but the chance to listen to you again on the car stereo fortified my nerves. I was fortunate to find lettuce at the second store I visited, and to spend the trip listening to fine music. It was a very nice selection, and it sounds wonderful in a real stereo system. You surely made my day much brighter with your kindness and your music!

Hello Phoebe. When I first chanced upon your channel, there was a large poster of Lt. Columbo (Peter Falk) in your shed, which had to be taken down to make space for new instruments. Subjectively, Columbo could be regarded the patron saint of humility and persistence, and therefore, would you perhaps consider to reserve place for a smaller portrait somewhere around Elvis and the birds? Ah, just one more thing... Nah, that's all I had to ask. --Waving from Istanbul.

Boy, that banjo sounds great! Almost like a lute or a mandocello. I used to play banjo when I was your age. (I actually played banjo, mandolin, and 6 and 12 string guitar back then. Eventually I dropped the first two.) Hearing your mastery of this unusual instrument makes me want to sharpen up my skills again. (Not that I was ever this good.) Thanks for the upload!

Also have family in upstate New York so im usrd to the sky barfing frozen death toward them. I hope you are safe as well and handling whatever mother natures fury sends YOUR way next.
