I moved down to Tempe on my own back in the day. A young girl on her own. You guys were having a concert and I asked you for a ride on your MySpace lol! You didn’t respond so I didn’t get to go! I was forced to leave Tempe in only a year when my stepdad died to come help my mom take care of my little sisters so “Goodbye Sky Harbor” completely captures how I felt and how my heart still feels empty today as I’ve never made it back to my Arizona and probably never will. You guys are lucky to be there and your music fills my soul with those moments I did have.

The thing I'll remember most about clarity, was the disappointment that sweetness was nowhere to be found. I'd seen them live just before release, and that song was something so special. They fucked up by releasing it too late, the demo version sounded better and it just belonged on clarity
