The point I was stating is that he has no clue what stuff was worth and didn’t even put in the work before setting his booth up to make sure he had stuff priced at what he wanted to sell them at. He then tripled the price of one game and raised the price 5x on another.

For real. Or at least honor the prices of the items that someone is willing to buy and then update the other items afterwards. Hell when I worked retail many, many years ago sometimes we missed a pair of shoes that still was priced at its sale price from a day or two prior. So you'd have a $60 pair of shoes priced with a sale price of let's say $30 and then someone comes up and wants the shoes but they ring up in the system as being $60 since the sale is over, we would honor the $30 price and then immediately change the sale tags and signage after.

I hate what the first booth did. Price them before showing up. Don’t change the value of the item. Normally, they have to honor their mistake. I would never buy from them if they change the price right away

From my experience at flea markets/conventions vendors don't really care if you don't buy their stuff at a "set price" or "new price" they'll sell it either way. Also since its a convention they don't have to honor anything, its not a retail store. Im not saying I agree with the guy if your gonna go to a convention and have a booth bring out items you know are priced, he probably only changed prices cause he heard phoenix talking about prices.

Very true when u watch the clip you'll notice the clerk come straight away when Phoenix got to excited about the prices. But you got to give the store clerk credit for checking up the Price's and staying firm with his new prices as for me if I know what it's worth I always pay up to 60 to 70 percent of the value worth of that item it's only fair. No one likes a greedy person or low ballers you got to be fair in life, with all that's happening in the world we need to give each other respect and be honest and mostly be fair with one another take care everyone..😁👍

I also understand you are paying for the time of the vendor. I mean I saw the vendors who were pushing move items than the ones who price check. Now, these vendors who constantly price check loose valuable time. Last thing I noticed if they look it up they don’t bargain. Which is why I go to them.

In Canada you can't do what the first guy did, it's illegal. Whatever the lower price is, that's the price. If the sticker is lower that's what you pay. It's doesn't matter what he said.. It's called bait and switch..

Just because some states in the US don't have any consuming protective regulations and laws, it doesn't mean it's the same situation world wide. And yes you may absolutely call the police if you're being scammed for instances like that. It's the sellers responsibility to triple check their prices before they sell anything, and not the consumers obligation to clarify if those prices are correct. You may call people who would like to have some rights enforced as Karen's, I call people who wouldn't want to have any rights as sheep. It's a matter of perspective actually.

I hate it in retro shops when you think there’s a cheaper copy between two, when actually there’s not and the owner was too lazy to update the price. I’ve been burned enough to just ask at the counter before I even touch the game. Phoenix- if you want some cheap games, try going to disc replay in Rockford, Naperville, Downers Grove in IL. They sometimes get rare games. Hard to find any N64 and GameCube stuff.
