Just bought the iPhone SE 2020. So I was waiting my case and screen protector to arrive that I ordered. Had my iPhone SE 2020 on the table yesterday. Slid off at lunch, hit the metal bar, landed flat on the ground. Not one scratch on the case or screen. Impressive. Still slipping it in the case and putting a screen protector on it. Did the same with my SE 2016. Thing was an absolute tank.

I dropped my SE on the front from 5ft today Forgot to put the case on It didn’t even get a scratch, while completely shattering the display of my friend’s phone it landed on. I was very happy when I saw that it didn’t even get a scratch As for my friend, his phone was fine except for the display which got another crack and a piece of the protective glass breaking off

Drop-tests like this are pretty random, a phone can get lucky and survive on time, whereas another time it cracks directly. Only way to make these test just a bit reliable is if he would test each phone a few times, or at least dropping it again in the next drop test video with it, but yeah, that would be really expensive.

If you don't want to break your phone and don't wear a case then you have to be extra careful with it. Sure accidents can still happen but they can be reduced. Don't use phone while climbing stairs or getting out of the car and I would try not even using too much while walking.
