The customization features are normally better on the Chinese phones, hard to explain without a video, but changing the ui, the keyboard, the way the screen swipes, how to get to the command center and the animations it plays, the color flashes and notifications, there were SOO many options. I had Android users thinking I had an iPhone and iPhone users thinking I had an iPhone running a modified OS. It looked like an iPhone but was running a funky Android OS. I loved that phone, but I dropped it and shattered the screen. 😕 But legit, a lot of them are great. Check out the Xiaomi Poco X5 Pro. Not a bad phone for the price, and most Chinese sites have it marked down by $100 or so, so whatever the review price they list on KZbin, you can normally find it half off on actual sites (which is what I did).

An easy way to check if the phone is fake is to record an 8K video at highest available fps. Either the fake phone simply cannot do it, or the quality of the video will be awful.

Man, too late for me. I was scammed by an even better fake a few days ago, on monday, and lost 800 Euros. Mine had paper seales like the real one and even the writing on the seal was there. It also has IMEI 1 and IMEI 2 written on the packaging and they even made a fake receipt. I feel so dumb and my money is gone. Lol a work friend and I were on a business trip and this dude outside an airport was selling brand new "galaxy phones" for half price, my work friend bought one, it seemed all good, except when he put a sim card in it wouldn't connect to a network, it connected to WiFi ok and he tried to install an app but it just said it didn't have enough memory to install even one app 🤣 when we got home he took it to a Samsung shop turns out it wasn't even a phone it had no actual phone radio, it did have WiFi connectivity only and only just enough ram to run the operating system and it did have a working memory card slot so all it was good for was using as a MP3 player and browsing the Web via WiFi.

There's a psychological side to it. I can confirm the feeling just isn't the same when you're unpacking a dupe, compared to an authentic, handcrafted piece. For me, its like a journey; opening the package, then the box, taking off the paper, layer by layer, smelling the leather... Ahh, you just CAN'T beat that! One dead giveaway would be to connect it to some kind of external display. On real samsung fold/flip/S series it will mirror the screen and also allow you to use Samsung Dex. On the fake one they would have to try really hard. Also some settings in the fake one would show the old android UI if you look for something that isnt used that often (like VPN, etc.), this is usually more funny with the fake iphone showing old android ui.
