One of the best movies I've ever seen. John Travolta was absolutely brilliant in his role!

Great movie, great tunes. Classic performance by Travolta. Scarlett - no words can describe her. Grayson Capps - what lyrics, incredible song. This version is on iTunes store under the soundtrack, "A Love Song For Bobby Long"...

This movie led me to Grayson Capps. I think the soundtrack is as important as the plot, characters, and performance of the actors. One of the few movies where the soundtrack shows up on screen with the actors themselves. Neither would be quite so beautiful without the other

This movie was moving in every way an intellectual delight, and the soundtrack was excellent.

Shea Malvasio A lot of the questions this movie generates can be answered in ones own mind if given some thought. I thirst for a good discussion about this movie but everyone I have watch it wont look outside the box...

Well written Shea. I could not agree more. I like to watch the film early on Sunday mornings with a shot of brandy in my coffee. A slow drizzle of rain at the same time does not hurt either.

I'll talk to you about it anytime you like. This movie invokes so many different emotions in me. It's simply one of the best movies ever made in my opinion. Such gritty, unlovable characters, yet I fell in love with all of them so deeply. They are dear to my heart to this day.

I finally bought this movie because I like it so much. For me, this was Travolta's best. Born and raised in New Orleans, it captured the romance of this city; its sadness and joy at the same time. Left there a few years back but moving back this year.

Will America ever wake up and realize what a beautiful, haunting testament this film is? I bet Carson McCullers would have understood.

I dont claim to be overly intelligent, or poetic for that matter but this is one of my all time favorite films. I watch it often. Two or more people could converse about this movie for hours and hours.

Living life. You see America from what you hear. The dark and lonely nights are there for us southerners to see the beauty around us and appreciate the simple things in life afforded. Life is greater than the sum of us all. I responded to only you, because I understand and agree.

James Farris Thank you very much. I will take that comment with me the rest of my days. "life is greater than the sum of us all". That is an amazing thought. Thank you for sharing that with me. God Bless you.
