Just received my Nankang n889 265/75/16 and definitely way bigger than the 265/70/16 currently on my 99sr5. Probably be doing this mod as they measure little over 32" but listed as 31.7". Anyway shtz definitely getting real. Thanks for the information.

I have 265/75/r16 mud tires on my 2000 limited stock rims and absolutely no rubbing. 33s will rub like rubbing alcohol for sure.

Be careful on driver side when trying to cut. There are wires very close to frame.

I didn’t do anything but you might want to limit the up travel so it doesn’t hit the fender. Bump stops can help. I just posted a video on it

My 98 had 33s with no lift and no spacers but it had the 99 suspension that is taller than the rest😁

2000 4runner -i have 265/75/16 street tires with stock wheels, stock upper a-arm. Can i do the mods on rear and cut front bumper and run 285/75/16 without going to adj arm? Im being told it only gives you 1" differance with adj arm.

The 1” is a big difference. You’ll probably rub without a lift upfront. It’s tight with 33s

They definitely will, slight rubbing on the front bumper but just trim it a little. Spacers make them rub more. I just cut mine with hedge trimmer

Knocking this small project out this weekend. Running “skinny” 255/85/16 on tundra 16” steelies. Rubs on the fender apron after my new alignment was set. Pretty hilarious seeing people’s faces in parking decks when it rubs. Sounds like the whole truck is falling apart lol

@@redlinerokr you'll want to set your caster properly. My 265/70 (32s') rubbed with the TRD pro wheels because the alignment wasn't done right.

You can run 33’s with no “lift” what do you think happens when your suspension compresses when you are “lifted”. Bad info there but kudos for the pinch weld video
