Then we take a photo tour of Namibia to see why it's one of the world's most sought after photo locations. Finally, we do a model shoot on film and process the rolls in the wrong chemicals - just to see what happens.

My oldest gear is a tripod bought in 1981! Not very trendy these days but when I first started it was considered an essential piece of kit. So much so that I actually bought it before I had even bought my first real professional outfit (RB67) to put on it. Prior to that I'd owned a few 35mm cameras .That tripod is the Manfrotto triaut. A beast of a thing which weighs a ton and can be operated from the top via a series of levers. I haven't used it for years but will never get rid of it. I owned and used the EF 400 f5.6 for a number of years but eventually traded it in for the EF 100-400 mkii and that has probably been my all time favourite lens even though I have been fortunate enough to own/use a few big primes. Favourite bag has always been the Lowepro Nature Trekker. Had it for years but had to replace it when it was stolen. Fortunately a few months ago I found a mkii secondhand one for sale and so the show goes on 😊
