MR-73 still my favorite metro train

The outside shots were taken at the plant where the Bombardier cars were built. The "not finished tunnel" is actually at the end of one of the lines. they use the tail tracks to store trains. Finally, the shot at 2:17 is a control room, but I'm not sure where.

The 10 second clip @ the 3:48 mark is from the now defunct "Atelier Montreal Facility" in Pointe St. Charles when the MR-63s were rebuilt back in 1994 or '95. I remember touring the shops during an open house, was quite impressive.

@BulletNoseBetty 6:17 is the STM's test train. It's called the MR-61 they usually take it out when they build new stations or lay new track.

@oldgordo61 No, i know that, i live in Montreal its just a photo in the video with the train outside in the train track. So it seemed that the subway was outside or something.

I'm wondering if the train at 6:17 is a Paris Metro? It's definitely missing the white stripe on the Montreal cars. Also, here's some trivia: at 0:12 is a picture of "Rocket". My Dad helped with the cosmetic restoration of this streetcar years ago. For those who don't know, it's currently on display at Exporail.

@BulletNoseBetty Thank you very much and sorry for the LATE reply. I also wondered, at 6:17, is that a metro car? It looks really weird, like it's a drawing and certainly does not look like the MR-63s I know.

at 4:06 they never had the montreal metro go above the ground. Plus, its impossible for a 3rd rail powered subway to go thruough a railway crossing

Could you tell me where the pictures of the métros outside were taken, and the subway in the not finished tunnel (6:17) and this (2:17)?
@AntoDamicoShow13 жыл бұрын
@SuperXpress2 No, the picture you see is of it on a train heading for montreal.

@khourycourey The metro controls itself.But when it arrives at the station,it opens it's doors by itself too.But the driver needs no close the door.Now what i hate about it,it's the driver closes the door too early so they can finish their shift faster.

Angrignon sure was nice when it opened. Now its nasty. Espescially in the winter. Verdun has 3 metros while LaSalle with a bigger pop. Than Verdun and Ville Emard gets zilch .

Montreal fancies itself a little Paris wannabe, while Paris would want to be like Montreal if it wanted to have winters near the North Pole.
