🔴 Photodiode || for Class 12 in Hindi

In this Physics video in Hindi we explained the working principle of Photodiode for class 12. It is a special purpose p-n junction diode which can sense light and allow current through it. When a p-n junction diode is connected with a battery in reverse bias and the junction is coated with transparent material, the light incident on the surface dislodges electron from the semiconductor atom, hence produce current in the circuit.

Sir as we know that the current in reverse bias is very small . So for 0.7 volt potential barrier negligible current flows....so when photons strikes the the current that flows agin is also very small..so whts the benefit of photo diode..... Sorry sir but i can get this topic
