I bought the Nebula 5100 Slant. First used it on a shoot in Peru. Footage was great paired with my 1DXII... after three days it died though. There customer service is horrible, I’m not joking.. in an email they said they were on vacation and would get back to me in two weeks! Do not buy any FilmPower products.. there company is a joke. I’m not trying to bash them, just protect you guys from going through what I went through!

Probably because the 1DxII is too heavy?

I have the nebula 4200 and balancing it is a breeze, but there are micro-shakes with any panning movement. I sent mine in for repairs because it would not link via bluetooth to anything, nor would it connect to my PC, and the shack (or shop) which is just a house in SF (2147 31st Ave,San Francisco 94 116 California) did not see any problems with the unit. I will be making a video of my own sharing my experience with filmpower, but I would avoid them at all costs. Buy a name brand and at least you know your gear isn't coming out of someone's garage.

yeah its a problems always to use this gimbals, any model

Can't use that with any camera with a flip out screen with that arm in the way.
@TheLokCheung7 жыл бұрын
jl7676 Not really! As you can see I first tried to set it up with the arm on the right but you could easily switch it to left side

You should take the lens cap off before balancing it.

I BOUGHT A NEBULA 5100 AND REALLY THIS LOOKS A GIMBAL FOR KIDS. AFTER ONE WEEK WORKING WITH NEBULA AND HAVING LOTS OF TROUBLES I DECIDE TO BUY DJI RONNIN MX AND I CAN TELL YOU THAT IS A BIG BIG DIFFERENCE FOR A LITLE MORE MONEY. IF YOU KNOW SOMEBODY WHO HAS ONE NEBULA AND ONE RONNIN LOOK HOW THEY WORK AND YOU WILL DECIDE QUICKY.

There is a lot of balancing necessary! Just for Heavy Cameras. Lots of promising on the Website but nothing is truth! Very disapointing product!

Too late to the 45 degree game. Most ppl got the pilotfly h2 45 including myself we waited for reviews of this but nothing promosing especially the no balance needed was too sketchy to announce without any videos to back this up..

It looks too heavy. Even heavier than the Came or Beholder. That grip/handle also looks uncomfortable. You can see Lok opting to hold it by the thinner folded tripod. I wonder why these manufacturers don't make these gimbals lighter. Even their two handed handle adapters are heavy and spaced too wide for large people. I suppose for filmmakers who only need it for short sequences the weight and size is better than the old gravity systems. But if you shooting an event you'd still need to use a vest or shoulder rig.

Misleading title -- this is NOT a review. Lok calls it a first look at the very end, and it's barely that - more like an unboxing and playing around with it. As such, I don't find this all that valuable. To me, before asking people to spend time watching your video, you should do the work *in advance* so you know exactly what it is you're talking about. For instance, please don't waste our time making us watch you fiddle with it to make it turn on for the first time or showing us things about this device that are common to every gimbal.
