this is legit my favorite ANTM photoshoot ever and Esther's picture is my favorite single photo in ANTM history....such glamour, such symmetry. But almost everyone came away with a good-to-great photo! if we wanna continue the water theme, there was a waterfall photo shoot in Cycle 19. The judges only critique the top 5 that was still in the competition at the time, but even the eliminated girls delivered some beautiful photos

I think the photographer from ANTM is a little prejudiced because it made all the POC pictures full of saturation and digging into their physical features. Plus picking te worst pictures

Jay: If you're not willing to go blind for ANTM, you don't really want this! Also, if the judges were really about mentorship, why didn't they just tell the girls to wear A, B and C to panel (kinda like a "model's uniform") every time instead of getting off on roasting a bunch of newbies? I feel like this episode was a little more tame because they had a more “established” photographer, Mr. Jay couldn’t stand next to the camera and make his terrible comments, like he normally does. They probably told him to pull the Liz to the side and make a big deal about her contacts to add more drama.

The thing that is sad is watching Oliver Twixt interviews a lot of these girls said they were so young when they were on the show and they looked up to Tyra so much that they felt like Tyra and the production team made them feel like they couldn’t talk back or they would edit out when they did stand up for themselves. And I see a lot of that in this reaction out of all the ones you done. at least most them seem to be able to look back on the show and said they’ve matured so much since it that a lot of those things don’t bother them anymore. But it’s still hurtful how they made them feel at that moment.

All the girls looked stunning in this photoshoot and I loved the styling. The judges were way too harsh especially about Liz's contact problem. I wear contacts and I have had problems many times because of dust or something else scratching my eye so I get it. The photographer was being too harsh as well and some things with the set and photo could of been designed better. Great reaction!

I used to model for bazaar and they decided that instead of giving criticism they were going to only hire for jobs that fit their own interest. They had 5 favorites that they always pushed to clients. One of my final shoots was for a magazine editorial for a salon known for colorful hair. They had my hair dyed 8 different colors which took 7 hrs and then the shoot took 3 hrs because the photographer was late.. when they finally did show up they took the photos with their phone because we were "losing light and just going to use the flash on the phone instead of trying to set up all the lighting equipment"... they then let me go 7 months without being paid for it. Some people just aren't professional 🙄 I loved modeling but that company just wasn't about to book jobs for models that didn't fit their typical mold of baby faced, 16 yrs old or younger, and willing to pay the agency to be pushed onto clients. They literally had these teenagers paying them to book them..
