She looks good with a red lip she just doesn’t look good with that brassy blonde hair (which THEY did for her). The blonde completely throws her natural coloring off. If she had a neutral/ash blonde it would probably sit much better against her pink undertones and she would look fantastic in a red lip

@@ashante190 I don't think the issue really is the age at which well-known models (or these ANTM contestants) are when they start in the industry. It's not too bad while you're actually underwater, it sucks afterwards your eyes feel all dried out, like when you spend the day at the beach in the water, but more extreme and strained in and behind the eyes. I spent a whole holiday attached at the hip to a salt water pool and we did a lot of swimming around finding markers at the bottom with our eyes open the whole day haha It feels like your eyes are the wrong size for your head. But even waking up the next morning you can feel it for a while, depending how long you're there for, and shoots are pretty long.

@Mia Smith there are plant based glitter and plastic free glitter alternatives- but its easier to assume (without looking at ingredients) a shimmer shadow is safer than a glitter shadow. Thankfully new products are being made and hopefully it will become an industry standard

Cosmetic grade glitter has nothing to do with mica. Glitter is usually a plastic, and it being cosmetic grade means it's cut in a way that won't damage you, unlike craft glitter for example which is cut more sharply and not suitable for the skin.

This was the season where Ann won photo of the week almost every time, it was one of my favourite seasons of antm for sure but I remember Kayla being forced to kiss a male model after telling them she was A) gay and more importantly B) terrified of being intimate with men after being sexually assaulted/abused by a man and being told to get over it, right there and then on the spot, just get over it. I remember at the time thinking how bad it was

They said she looked like a drag queen? Yet they put her in the costume and makeup? Yet somehow she made it look that of a drag queen? It’s somehow the models fault for making the makeup look like “drag queen” makeup. Then they tell her she needs to “figure out how to wear the makeup” 🤣🤣🤣 wow

The thing that is sad is watching Oliver Twixt interviews a lot of these girls said they were so young when they were on the show and they looked up to Tyra so much that they felt like Tyra and the production team made them feel like they couldn’t talk back or they would edit out when they did stand up for themselves. And I see a lot of that in this reaction out of all the ones you done. at least most them seem to be able to look back on the show and said they’ve matured so much since it that a lot of those things don’t bother them anymore. But it’s still hurtful how they made them feel at that moment.

I used to model for bazaar and they decided that instead of giving criticism they were going to only hire for jobs that fit their own interest. They had 5 favorites that they always pushed to clients. One of my final shoots was for a magazine editorial for a salon known for colorful hair. They had my hair dyed 8 different colors which took 7 hrs and then the shoot took 3 hrs because the photographer was late.. when they finally did show up they took the photos with their phone because we were "losing light and just going to use the flash on the phone instead of trying to set up all the lighting equipment"... they then let me go 7 months without being paid for it. Some people just aren't professional 🙄 I loved modeling but that company just wasn't about to book jobs for models that didn't fit their typical mold of baby faced, 16 yrs old or younger, and willing to pay the agency to be pushed onto clients. They literally had these teenagers paying them to book them..
