That's what I was gonna say. Like, weird poses to get the right height and angle happen often, and with some I'm just contorted on the ground in odd ways, but if someone is stiff and too "posed" I'll play it up some, joke around, compliments, all kinds of things to make the subject more relaxed or confident or whatever's needed to get the shot they really want.

I used to volunteer as a rally official, pretty much the unofficial number 1 rule with being near the track, ESPECIALLY on the outside of corners or near jumps etc, is make sure there is something VERY solid nearby that you can put between you and the oncoming cars

I probably had a very particular close up shot in mind and couldn't get it. Should've just backed off after the second or third attempt tho, worse case you can ask them to stage it a bit later rather than interrupt such a important moment.

@@Sawta Yeah it takes alot of skill to stay out of the way for the most part, though sometimes you have to be pretty intrusive for a shot. They hired you to get good shots so for the most part everyone understands but more than 2 attempts at that shot is pretty rediculous. Wedding photography sucks btw, don't do it.

The worst thing about the alligators was that the people shouted. The photographer signaled to be quiet and always kinda watched them (still shouldn't do it that way) but those viewers just caused unnecessary aggression by shouting. He wasn't in a good or save position to begin with, but shouting neither makes him come back nor calms the alligators down; especially after they already fed them something, showing them they are "allowed to eat". He should have backed up and find a saver point and the viewers shouldn't be shouting before anything happens. The photographer can fall into the water because he gets scared by the shouts and the alligators don't take it easy too.

What you said about people warning the photographer is what I always think when I see stuff like that. "WHY DON'T YOU WARN THE PHOTOGRAPHER?!" Those people are jerks. That's why you have to make sure you get the photographer to be apart of the rehearsal. They need to know where to step and where you want things so that kind of thing doesn't happen.

This reminds of a story that my uncle had. He was visiting his brother in Alaska for the summer. In the road they saw a moose in a prairie. He instantly got the awesome idea to take a picture. But he wasn't pleased with the one he got, so he closer. Then not pleased, so another pic, and then another. So on until he realizes the moose has a baby with her. Then looks out of the camera and realizes it's charging at him and it is a lot closer to him than the camera viewfinder showed. He ran and then fell in the mud. The moose still charging at him, and he gets up and runs again. Only to faceplant in the mud again. The moose reaches and stops. Sniffs him and leaves him alone thinking "what an idiot"😂. Great story but he'd be able to tell a thousand times better than me.

It was definitely two different photographers at two separate weddings. The church is different, and one guy was taking photos and the other guy was filming. Great video. Ive subbed. ✌ 😊
