Photographing Guilin! River Rafting and Cormorant Fishermen

Day 2 of the Guilin Photo Tour was packed with incredible photography opportunities. We spent sunrise with Blackbeard, another cormorant fisherman who lives in Guilin and then explored the area on a riverboat. We ended the day on Five Fingers Mountain where we watched the sunset. The next morning we spent sunrise with dozens of other photographers on Xianggong Hill.

This is dramatically poetic. It reminds me that long time ago I missed out the chance to go to Guilin due to some unforeseeable circumstances back then and that was really a pity for me cause I never had a chance and time to compensate the lost till now. Ive really enjoyed viewing your videos of the China trip. My wife and I saw much of the same things when we were there and loved it. I must say you two are much more adventurous than we were while there. Did you ever get sick from eating all of the local foods? We were directed to certain places to eat while there by out guide and told not to eat on the street. I would have loved to try some things on the street but was concerned about getting sick. You are a breath of fresh air on these trips and I love your excitement at each place you visit. Keep up the good work.

The only meal that made me sick was an American style burger at a our really nice hotel. All it gave me was a light stomach ache though, we had gotten accustomed to the local food at that point and I don’t think my body was pleased to go back to American food.

The breakout is from the climate (humid weather). I went to Guilin in 2014. I had red bumps all over my body, except my face. Since I live in very dry area, my body couldn't adapt to that level of humidity. I think same thing happened to you.

Stumble across your video while searching for Guiling videos. Very enjoyable and such beautiful scenery. This video would have been better if you could show us some of the photos that you have taken and maybe some behind the scene footage on how you got the photo.
