The waterfall pictures: such beautiful texture in the water, and the softness of the mist, so magical, it's great to see what happens w/ the ND filters and selection of shutter speed. I'm envious - no real water features in New Mexico, it's a dry state, of the no water kind (Utah is alcohol dry-ish).

Beautiful waterfall photos. Over here in the UK the ferns are rampant, up to six feet tall. We had a really warm, dry spring, they seem to have enjoyed the conditions and have grown in abundance.

Another fantastic vlog. Stunning images and the b-roll stuff is breathtaking as usual ... even if you did crash your drone! 😁 We were eaten alive by 'skeeters last weekend on our hike up the marshy river. I barely got any drone shots and no photography ... my wife was having none of it! 😁 I'm always amazed at the ease with which you take your shots! Thanks again Adam!

I will never tire of waterfall photography. Each one has it's own personality which changes with the flow of water and the seasons. You definitely know just how to portray each one to bring out its best in any given circumstances. In my area it is relatively flat and it takes a coupe of hours behind the wheel to get to the elevation changes needed to create waterfalls. Ah but it is worth the drive. Thanks again for a worthwhile lesson and demonstration on "How it is done properly".

You probably already know this, but if you shoot raw + jpeg then you can set a crop in-camera. I’ve been doing this regularly which really helps me compose. An additional benefit of shooting raw + jpeg (fine or super fine) is you get a more detailed image playback which helps if you want to look back and check focus

Hi Adam. Love your work but miss some of your antics with Gavin. Question - is it possible for you to post the both pre and post processed pictures together at the same time in a side by side format. I find it hard to study what you did to the finished work by bouncing back and forth along the timeline. Keep teaching, I learn a great deal every time I watch you.

In the last photo of the ferns the only thing that I would take issue with is your commitment to the ISO of 100. To eliminate any leaf movement you would have benefited from a slightly higher shutter speed at the 'cost' of a slightly higher ISO. Using your GFX-50R at ISO of 200 or even 400 would have had little discernible difference in image quality.

Love those swirls in the waterfall Adam - esp the one at 11:50. How much difference is there in settings (if any) between shooting Medium frame compared to Full frame? F22 seems really likely to cause diffraction but your image seemed sharp.

Loved this Adam, looks like an amazing spot. I like what you did with the waterfall and combining the two images together. The shots of the trees were amazing the green of the leaves was incredible. I have been to a few locations in Australia that are very remote, so I can relate to the safety aspect of having someone to go with. You are a little far away for me to join you, unfortunately! 😊

Beautiful fairy land of green, ferns, cedars and waterfalls then I get get yanked back to reality with those damn mosquitoes. :^) Not a keen fan of humidity either. You are really rocking it with the Fuji; you seem to enjoy using it with your vlogging more than the D850 (on the computer screen the image quality seems to be on par with each other). Well done.
