Mark I am astounded by how valuable your channel is given your knowledge and experience. I am a college student who practices photography as a creative outlet. I am interested in commercializing my passion to some extent, but sometimes I feel that to do so, I would have to create the same kinds of content as everyone else. So I'm currently resigned to taking picture for myself and myself alone. Seeing your work however is very inspirational. I cannot express my gratitude for your genuineness as a teacher and I hope you continue to make educational content like this. Maybe if I follow it one day I'll be able to create photos with a fraction of your talent! Thank you.

Wow! I appreciate comments very much. It’s really important to March to your own drum beat. Unfortunately in this commercial space sometimes you have to compromise but the balancing act is important.

Hi Mr.Mann, huge admirer here. Just wondering when you use the wb card do you use it once to set your camera or do you recalibrate everytime you move the lighting? Thanks :)

Very interesting, thank you, Mark. Which software are you using for tethering and retouching?
@ComplicatedThings Жыл бұрын
Mark uses CaptureOne to tether but catalogs in Lightroom and then edits everything in Photoshop. If you have any specific questions let us know and maybe we can make a video about it to help everyone else.

Mark, I think your using constant light and not flash ? Is that how you normally light portraits ? Which light and diffuser are you using ? It's very effective.
@ComplicatedThings Жыл бұрын
Yes Mark does use constant light and for this shoot he used a Rotolight Aeos 2 with a grid and then a diffusion dome.
