I purchased the photopills app about a year ago [android] but I gave up on it and its collected dust in my phone since. As I was searching through KZbin on photography I stumbled upon your selection. I am watching N03 just now; you are excellent at training; so pricise and informative. Very much like Chris Keen's comment I am discovering 'how to utilise' the content and plan to use this app regularly. thank you very much

Thank you so much ! I have had this app for a couple of years now and have used it once or twice but every time it was trial and error. I have listned to, and read lots of stuff online about supposedly how to use it but found that they were telling me more about what it can do. Instead of how to do it, finally you given me the tools for how to use it. So grateful :)

Excellent PhotoPills KZbin series. Searching for more info on hyperfocus distance this morning. Long story short: I am watching by 4th video and have spent $10 for an app - rare experience for me. All good :) Aside from the on-target content, the production quality is the best; no needless time spent "warming me up" with a 2-3 minute, pointless lead-in to each episode. You get to the point. Did I mention how much I enjoy these episodes?

My map is not like yours, mine looks like a map, with names of places and roads. I also don't have 3 lines in the moon view, I don't have the one that moves. I'm obviously not doing something correct, can you help me?
@outdoorphotographyschool7366
@outdoorphotographyschool7366 4 жыл бұрын
Hi Sandy - it sounds like your map type selected in the map settings is either a standard or hybrid view. To change it, click on the little icon that looks like two pieces of paper in the lower right side of the map. This brings you to the map settings. Under "Map type", you can select the kind of map you'd like to use. In regard to the moon map layer - if your date/time is set for when it's a new moon (so not visible at night), then you wouldn't see the thin blue line move.
