Hi Brenda I had watched your videos a few years ago and was supremely impressed but my life was stopping me from being able to get into photography. I am now returning to you like a long-lost friend and hoping you are well. You are one of the most articulate speakers I have ever listened to (no Ummms or Ahhhs or meandering and loss of train of thought). You are simply brilliant. Thank you 😊

Hi Brenda, Your PhotoPills episodes are fantastic. Not wanting to be someone who just claims 'I have that app' I finally found your clear, bite sized videos and downloaded the app so I copuld follow along as you go through the episodes. As a beginner with the app it is packed with more tools than I could wrap my head around. Thank you for taking on the task of explaining PhotoPills and doing a stellar job as well.

Wooaahhhhh Brenda, never noticed how fast you speak, what’s the rush? That was faster than Rafael from PhotoPills 😉. That was info overload at Warp speed...... now go take a breath and thanks for another fantastic vlog. I’ll need to watch in slow motion so my brain can catch up... my processor is a little slow.

Brenda, PhotoPills has been on my phone for ages, but I have never figured out where to start learning. I have only seen the first two episodes to date, but I am already beginning to find my own way around. It’s great that the videos are relatively short - bite sized. Unfortunately the Terrain Layer does not work on the iPhone11 but it ( Terrain Layer) does work on my iPad. However the Terrain layer works on my iPhone when I do not have the PhotoPills App on. Perhaps a later video will help me resolve this issue. When planning my trip to the Alps the Terrain Layer is extremely important to get a sense of how easy or hard the area is to navigate, dramatic composition, etc. Looking forward to learning more. Great content…

Not sure if I missed it in first video but one of my issues is how do I use features when I have no internet connection - as often happens here in western Canada in spite of what the internet companies tell us. Good review, thanks.
@clacla19684 жыл бұрын
Almost all features on P.Pills work without internet connection. The only important thing is to open a plan, or a map when you have connection (maybe home, for example) and not close the app for as long as you need to use it . I often open photo pills before leaving home and go to a spot where I fear there'll be no internet connection. Hopefully the app does'n crash, otherwise ....
@outdoorphotographyschool73664 жыл бұрын
Thanks for helping Guy out! Perhaps going over what features are available or not without internet would be a good future topic for PhotoPills Friday.

Just downloaded the PhotoPills App. However there seems to be a disconnect between your iPhone 14 and the iPhone 11. I will keep watching and do what I can…for example on the bottom of the Map Section you show 3 icons, I only have 2. Perhaps you might have another option for iPhone 11. ,
