Functionally speaking, one of these would make a fantastic recording studio. For starters being underground plus having thick concrete interior walls means you’re gonna need little to no soundproofing, it’ll also eliminate practically all outside radio interference. Another thing I noticed was how most of the rooms were partially-round and had no parallel walls, this is good because rooms that lack parallel walls don’t have a lot of natural reverb.

Wow. This is the first Titan 2 site that I've seen where they left an actual piece of equipment.

All the hard work is done, a shame the Silo isnt accessible. Looks like they pulled out the walkway and there's no way to it.

The silo is destroyed , the silo door is gone , the cableway is torn out , and the silo's wall's are blown up.

@101Osprey1014 жыл бұрын
Check their link. $395k. Looks like someone started it and then gave up. All of the conduit and scrap is gone. Looks like it is in fairly decent shape too. Of course the long cableway is gone, as is the case for all of the one's in AZ., but I wonder what the condition of the actual silo is? I wonder if it is salvageable at all? Too bad I am just your average poor guy....

@@101Osprey101 I used to work in the Titan II's in the 80's. The silo won't be salvageable unless your a billionaire with a lot of ambition and purpose. Otherwise, a money bit in the true sense.

@@dantech1 So, you don't get a "silo" after all, if you purchase an Arizona site? These other guys I see on YT get the silo and the cableway to it! I wonder if anyone has done anything with an empty Titan II silo anyway...?
@101Osprey1014 жыл бұрын
@@mlovmo I bet the actual silo is included with this but getting into it is an entirely different story. I have not seen anyone get into the actual silo of a decommissioned Titan II silo. Even the guys with the long cableways still end up building walls at the ends to keep flooding at bay, as opposed to actually getting into the silo. I keep hoping to see someone do it but it must be pretty bad as no one that I have found, has actually done it yet. The cool things about the silo here is it seems a huge portion of the scrapping process is already done. Look at how much crap there is on the ceiling of the other silos. All that conduit and supporting structures are cleared out of this one. Also, it's in AZ so no flooding issues. Check out the control panel still there! Damn, I wish I had the money for something like this. Wife would hate it but I think it would be a fun project.

My estimate is probably less than $1M. Maybe even $250K or so. Looks like lots of work has already been done to clear out the access portal. Money pit.

Can't be too much work done digging, as AZ ones are dry, unlike Arkansas which are flooded. Looks like the large cableway is still full of dirt?
