As a starting real estate photographer, what camera would you recommend?
@mirari_engaged3 ай бұрын
Get yourself a lens that’s about 16mm, any of the basic lines of cameras are good. Like a Nikon D3500. I run Nikon.

Yesss pls keep learning from this guy. Makes other photographers look great who actually cares about the industry and makes 3 times more money per shoot.

I agree. We shoot 2k houses per MONTH, all employees. I would never turn in photos like this. Comp is awful and walls are very muddy. I love this is being taught, as it is a sure way to get busy with $100 shoots. If I were beginning and could shoot 5 of these per day, why not. We just like better photos and less shoots for more $$

@aznomads1579 exactly! People don't realized that but I rather do prices that I see fit and not working like mule and burn out half of the year. Which i give him props for that since he is selling his course that way.

Almost all you said was shoot in HDR without a flash and outsource editing xD
@thomak284 ай бұрын
I've done both, with or without flash and end to end (this means editing part as well). Eventually with the flash you can edit faster (fixing color casts, better lighting, window pools etc). But, there's a huge BUT....If you're outsourcing editing offshore then of course use the HDR method, its faster onsite and this is not you're time that goes into the editing part after. And that's the whole story of this debate...

Does a flash shot improve color correctness?
@itselijones7 ай бұрын
Generally it does, but our colors never give us issues, so I would say they are correct enough!
@BluehourPhotography7 ай бұрын
HDR will never give you correct colors. Unless it's a white house and even then can turn them yellow or blue.

@@BluehourPhotography Any suggestions on how to improve color accuracy with HDR? Shooting add'l stops, using a gray card, etc.?
@BluehourPhotography7 ай бұрын
@@transmitterimages8638 Thats a question better suited for Eli. I just know that you'll never get 100% correct colors that way. If you do anything other than just point and shoot your defeating the point of HDR anyway. Might as well do flash then.

How many stops apart are your 3 brackets? 1 stop? 2 stops? Thanks

Everytime when I see people using flash, even in daylight, I die a little inside. I don't even use flash in jewelry photography.

While i actually really appreciate the info you shared in this video and i think it will be very useful for me, this is like trying a painting tutorial and the person in the video says "hire an artist from a poor country with your valuable american dollars!"

This is such clickbait. Has nothing to do with editing. You could have said outsource your work in a 30 second video. Sadly I’m sure you’re making money off this rather useless video.
