When my dad would paint our wooden stairway every couple years he had a good idea. He painted the right 2/3 of each step which left a bit of space to walk back up the stairs on the left side. The next day he painted the left 2/3 of each step which left a space on the right side to go back up. This way the middle third of the stairs always got two coats and the outside of each stair got one coat. What part of the stairs wears the fastest? The center third of course, but it always had an extra coat.

Don't know how long ago that was, but WAY back house paint used linseed oil to thin it. It took a good 24 hours for it to be cured enough to step on without marring it. However, the methodology your dad used was/is a great idea. Old house painter here.

I have witnessed a postal delivery driver get out of his van, put the "sorry we missed you" slip in my mail box, then get back in his van and drive away. He did not even try to deliver the package. The laziness of some delivery drivers is astounding.

The Post Office is the worst. I'll get an "attempted delivery" card the day after I've stayed in all day waiting, and nobody rang the intercom or knocked on the door. Sometimes the excuse will be that there was "no parking" in front. There never HAS been any -- but SOMEHOW, Amazon, FedEx, Purolator, UPS, and CanPar all seem to manage!

5:19 my brother ordered a Rug Rat cake for his daughter’s birthday after his divorce. He was trying to accommodate each child at the party with the picture or flower they requested. My sisters and I just watched and laughed. It got even better when he pulled out a baseball bat and started to hang a piñata from a doorway with beautiful stained wood. We still laugh and pick on him. He was just trying so hard to be a good Dad lol

One of my high school classmates was working at a grocery store and was told to mop up a spill with soap and hot water. Visited some caves in Turkey and there was an wheelchair ramp for about 5 meter height difference. Yee how nicely thought, the only problem were that the ramp was like 60 degrees deep and below was a a 90 degree turn to make unless you want to hit the wall that was located like 1,5 meters from where the actual ramp stopped.
