After you get the shot that client wants, ALWAYS take the extra 3min to get the risky creative shot. It's ALWAYS better to have it and not use it, than it is to not have it and wanna use it.

Nice job.. I’ve heard the Leica q3 is more of a 26mm then a 28 ultimately so it must be really interesting to use for portraits

It can be. But because it’s 60mp. I like to use it’s 35mm , 50mm crop modes

@Semelon considering the relative distortion of the 28mm, which is more relevant when shooting portraits, compared to a let’s say 50mm, how do you manage that? I reckon you simply stand farther away and then crop in thanks to the 60mp? If so can you say how far on average you stand away from the model? Thanks.

@@MrHobbs-rf3qv relevance is in the eye of the shooter. Considering the definition of of “portrait” , shooting with the 28mm doesn’t make portrait photography irrelevant. Sometimes it’s better to step out of the status quo “nifty 50” mindset and just get creative with what you have.

@@MrHobbs-rf3qv to answer your question more direct. Since the Q3 has 35mm , 50mm , 70mm and 90mm crop modes. You would stand back as far as you would need to get your subject in frame however you desired
