I've been using photoshop for half a decade and one of the worst things about being self-taught, is that you end up missing some things or more efficient ways of doing those things such as THIS, I can't believe I'm learning so much from only the third lesson in this course, absolutely amazing, unmesh, I'm so glad that this is going to get a lot of people into photoshop, this series is absolutely amazing.

@agrafkaagrafka1542 Well I understand the video more than anything you've said, can you make a "simple" video about it ?
@ksemi Жыл бұрын
@agrafkaagrafka1542s so simple and the explaination fit in two sentences but yet you didn't explained it yourself. Why did you watch the video in the first place? He did say that Opacity controls the transparency of the layer AND all his content while Fill leaves the layer style and blend modes intact. He did explains it through the whole video but spent time showing it with exemples before summing it up in the conclusion. If you didn't learn anything, good for you, move on.
@ksemi Жыл бұрын
@agrafkaagrafka1542 In the first post you said exactly what he said in his conclusion... We are not all expert of PS and even some long time users didn't know what this feature actually do. Most of us are watching videos to learn.

Hello. My mental health in the past 5 years has been a roller coaster, and I decided this year that I will change myself and my habits for the better. I decided to pursue the things I enjoy the most in life and and hopefully build a career out of something I love doing. Creativity has always been my best suit and I have struggled finding a good teacher online to help me understand CC apps better. Your approach to each lesson is great: they're filled with positivity, passion, humor, and simplicity. (great job on using the Feynman technique to teaching btw, it always works). I just wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart on making the decision to start teaching on KZbin.

Recently I came across this channel, followed from lesson 1 and I realized Photoshop is NOT COMPLEX at all! I am more confident now and have been trying all the lessons, and it feels like a victory when you are finally able to use a software. Also, I can't believe we can access it for free!
