I'm Brazilian, and despite not having a full command of the English language, the way you teach I can understand perfectly and apply all the steps taught in the video, thanks to your great didactics! I just have to thank and congratulate you once again for the great work, content and generosity in sharing it with us!

I've been using Photoshop for a long time and I'm pretty much self taught... that means I end up doing things the long and complicated way. This video didn't just show me how to do this style of image... it showed me how to do very simple commands and options I never knew.

Excellent tutorial, you didn't leave out any steps. I was actually able to follow along. Many tutorials, leave out small details, which are nothing for experienced users, but mess everything up for us newbies. Assumed steps, is what always leads me to PS frustration. I was so pleased that I could follow along enough with your tutorial, to the point that I could even make some of my own modifications. I did have a problem with the pattern overlay on the text, but after several attempts and a lunch break, I discovered that the pattern overly had to be reset to accept my chosen pattern. Thanks for your knowledge.

Question, I followed this awesome tutorial for a banner I made for basketball but when I go to save the image or flatten it, the shadows disappear from my text. Any idea how to maintain the edit and save it?
@BLTV_Photoshop6 жыл бұрын
In your Layers panel, make the top visible layer active and make a new layer above it. Make a composite snapshot of your final image by pressing Alt + Ctrl + E + Shift on WIndows or Option + Cmd + E + Shift on a Mac. Then, save the composite snapshot as a jpeg.

Martin, to print this, can you tell me what should be the right steps. Thanks.
@BLTV_Photoshop10 жыл бұрын
If your intention is to print he final image, it's best to start your project with a high resolution (minimum: 300 pixels per inch). FYI: If you "uprez" a 150ppi image to 300 ppi, you image will look a bit soft. Once you complete your project, save the ,psd file and then flatten it and save it using a different title as a .jpg.
