In this tutorial, I demonstrate how easy it is to smooth a person skin in Photoshop using it as a Lightroom plugin. Along the way, I remove a stray hair and a blemish too. This novice appreciates the simplicity of your teaching. It sparks a light of understanding to me that says, “You can do this.”

I agree, your teaching is right on par for my pace of learning. Not so fast I can’t keep up with. Thanks!

Thank you so much, I started photography in 2017 and since then am following your videos on LR, now I am just putting my leg in Photoshop, just hoping I would understand Photoshop too. You explain so well and in simple ways. I like your videos very very much. God bless you. ❤

Really appreciate you doing this Anthony as I'm able to follow on with smaller steps than trying to learn it in one big bundle. Great work.

Thanks for making this series, Anthony. Photoshop for many (oftentimes myself) isn't "required", but some simple knowledge/tricks can make a huge difference! It pays dividends to know HOW to do these things when your normal workflow can't do the trick. You've gained a new, thankful subscriber :)

Hey Anthony. I think it's a great idea to do this series. For me personally I suspect much of the really basic stuff I'll be already ok with since this is how I use PS - just pop over to do the few things that LR isn't as good at or can't do. But what messes me up is really understanding layers. I suspect a lot of people are put off PS because of layers and getting a good grip on how they work and how to manage them, etc. That said, however you go with this I'll be keeping an eye out for some good tips. Thanks!

Thx. Perfect - just the kind of video I need - as an LR (and luminar) only editor 😉

Thanks for the video. The only issue I have had with this method is it only looks at the face and not the neck.

Photoshop says I have to download the Skin Smoothing Neural Filter. When I click Download PS say "The filter is not available". It shows that with all listed Neural Filters.

I am not intimidated by Photoshop! The only reason why I don't PS is the size of the files that it creates. I rather have my pictures in Raw with the added bonus of a much smaller file.
