One note concerning creating black and white layers for the purpose of checking luminance values. Instead of adding a 'black and white' adjustment layer, it's better to either add a blank layer and fill it with black/50% gray, or add a 'selective color' adjustment layer and choosing black/50% gray, and then setting the layer blending mode to 'color'. Doing it this way accurately represents the luminance values of all the layers below more precisely than a 'black and white' adjustment layer, which only approximates B&W values based on the color information in the image.

Really excellent tutorial on the subject, tips are very advanced... I have a query for how to find horizon line for and perspective for photographed in the studio like the lady photograph inserted in the background... Thank you very much for this great tutorial...
@PhotoshopTrainingChannel9 жыл бұрын
***** You don't have to know exactly where it is, just be close enough, just determine whether it is below or above the center of the image, and then make an educated guess based on the tilt of the camera.

Hello. All your tutorials are great. Thank you. I do not speak Spanish and try to understand as much as possible. It possible that you included subtitles in Spanish, that way you'd have more public and more likes :)
@PhotoshopTrainingChannel10 жыл бұрын

I've spent the entire summer honing my technical skills and this video, I think, has helped fuse all that information together. It left me feeling confident about finishing my composite. For anyone asking similar questions to those heard in the video, I would say that this tutorial is not for you yet. If you're not sure why levels or curves might be preferable in a given situation, then I suggest going back to earlier tutorials. You can also head over to lynda.com and check out Deke McClelland and Nigel French et al. Also, Phlearn.com has many great free resources. And Glyn Dewis (www.glyndewis.com/) has plenty of helpful videos on the 'Tube as well. -So happy I stumbled across this channel at the perfect timing. Good luck guys, and happy comping.

Whoa, this guy is awesome... Im educating around some 3D's Max stuff, and somehow he covers both the artistic side of it, and the things i need to know about implementation of things in a 3D environment.. Thats a good defeat! :P Btw, im kind of nooby in Photoshop, (very!) and i have some issues with setting the Undo amount, above remembering only one step back in CS6.. How do i change that.? :/
@PhotoshopTrainingChannel10 жыл бұрын
W0ND3RB0Y1, This is the weird thing about Photoshop, "Undo" is just one step back, but "Step Backward" is multiple steps. Alt Ctrl Z (Mac: Command Option Z). To set the number of Step Backward go to the preferences panel, Ctrl K (Mac: Command K) and click on "Performance" and change the number of "History States" Also, you may want to use the History Panel to see your "undos" sort of speak. Window > History Hope this helps

Photoshop Training Channel You have control over seeing comments that got marked by spam. KZbin always allows the content creator of the particular video to unmark the comments that got marked as spam. They do this because sometimes comments get wrongfully marked due to flaws in the system. One of my comments got marked as spam on this video, I'm asking you to unmark it.
