Mark's funny expressions while Kat speaks is the best part of the video 😂 Taking advantage, could you explain in the next video the sound of "to" in I'm trying to cut down? couldn't hear.

Very funny Mark’s examples make me laugh too 😝 I’m trying t’ cut down. Very light on the t’ sound! You often hear I’m trynna cut down in spoken English, hope that helps!

I'm at a loss for words and I can't thank you enough my great teachers. My English skills have been improving since I found this wonderful channel. I have a question here. What's the difference between Cool down and Cool off? Or do they have the same meaning?
@highlevellistening
@highlevellistening 12 күн бұрын
Thank you so so much! We're so happy to hear that!! Thanks for all of your hard work! to cool down and to cool off are very similar yes! we can use them both for bringing the temperature down and also when someone is angry or upset and they need to cool down or cool off.

I appreciate your help ,Your videos really helpful❤❤ I memorize the phrasal verbs and my listening, reading, writing improves But my speaking skill didn't, when I watch TOEFL test videos , i really struggle with speaking, my brain stops and i take a lot of time to say a word and my words are messy. I am trying to solve this problem by Watch a story and tell it 😢 but I don't sure it will help me when I am in the test Sorry to annoy you 😢
@highlevellistening
@highlevellistening 12 күн бұрын
You're not annoying us at all! Don't worry it's completely normal that most students feel much more comfortable in listening, reading and writing before they feel more comfortable in speaking. It takes way more practice mimicking, repeating and saying the words out loud to get the same speaking skills as your other skills. Keep practicing and moving forward, speaking out loud for more time day by day!
