Hello Demetri. Glad to hear the surgery has been a life changer for you. Wishing you continued success. You think i could pick your brain so to speak about your symptoms. I am running into dead ends with all the specialist i am visiting. I recently detected myself the position of my diaphragm on a copy of a CT Scan & MRI. The Radiologists made no reference at all which is shocking. I consulted with my Pulmonogist and he confirmed that i needed a sniff test. The Assessment came back as a paralyzed right diaphragm but i have a lot of question about my symptoms and if they are solely a product of this condition. So, if you don't mind sharing, i would be greatly appreciative. Thanks.

Is this surgery covered by insurance? I've had a paralyzed diaphragm for 21 years, after having a thyroidectomy. I've been in pain and can't breathe well for such a long time. 😞 I really would like to know more about the surgery, and cost. Maybe there's hope after all. 😊🙏 🤞

What kind of pain are you getting. I also was diagnosed with a paralysis of the diaphragm last year sometime in April.

I still to this day 3 months after my surgery was canceled at UCLA on February 18th 2022 still I can't seem to get anybody to respond from New Jersey my referral from prime care was a joke it was not done correctly and I've already wasted a month going back-and-forth between UCLA and my prime care medical group to try to figure out why this is such a problem to coordinate my care? I can't get help from anybody.... Tierd of being lied to by med.group & heathcare / insurance. I was reassured that this Was going to happen & not worry... now I can't get anyone to even check in with me with a plan of action let alone treatment.. I feel like they are wearing me out on purpose so I'll just go away for good?😭 cry I guess every day, can't sleep , totally hopeless & scared!
