Phuket Aviation Highlights 2/3 | The Beach: Tiger 747, Dragon & Lion A330, Firefly

enjoy my second Phuket video!

Watching planes landing in Phuket has become a top-rated attraction in recent years. It’s easy, fun, super impressive, and with such a beautiful beach as a background, it is an excellent photo playground.
There is also a special livery for Rossiya Airlines featuring the face of an Amur Tiger on the nose of a Boeing 747. In collaboration with the ‘Amur Tiger Centre’ to raise awareness of the challenges of preserving and enhancing the unique population of Amur leopard tigers. Taking a total of twelve days to complete this livery required full paint strip of the fuselage and sanding of composite areas.

Die Videos die du machst, sind einfach traumhaft. Da sollte man sich eine dicke Scheibe abschneiden. Sind die Aufnahmen auch von der Sony DSC-RX10M4 Premium Bridge Kamera? Benutzt du ein Stativ oder machst du dies mit Videoschneidprogramm?

Gerne, das muss einfach mal gesagt werden ^^. Da bin ich echt erstaunt, das du deine Videos trotzdem so ruhig geschnitten bekommst. Wie sieht es den mit dem zoomen im Nachhinein aus? Kannst du das ohne Qualitätsprobleme beim schneiden ranzoomen, so das man z.B das Fahrwerk immer noch Scharf sehen kannst?

Hi, sorry für die späte Antwort. Also, die Videos stabilisiere ich noch in Adobe Premiere mit dem WarpStabilisator. Sonst währen sie nicht ganz so ruhig. Reinzoomen geht bei 4K schon etwas - bisschen Verlust ist da natürlich schon...

Hi, kein Problem. Habe mir die Kamera auch bestellt und die ist heute gekommen. Werde mir sie direkt morgen an meiner "Homebase" testen. Mal gucken, wie die Kamera tickt und was sie kann. Ich bin sehr viel in der Militärfliegerei unterwegs, weswegen ich eine Kamera mit hoher Qualität gesucht habe und mit einem schnellen Autofokus. Mit einer Spiegelreflexcamera kann man das vergessen, da muss ich immer manuell fokussieren. Gruß JATO

Rossiya is not bankrupt. And Yes, you are correct about Dragonair being renamed Cathay Dragon. Its just that some of their aircraft are not in the new livery yet.

This 747 with Tiger was operated by Transaero that went bankrupt. Rossiya got all Transaero's 747 fleet after that and painted 1 aircraft as tiger too. There is also 1 "Far eastern leopard" livery on Rossiya 777-300.
