Mr. Professor if we look at brwonian's motion of the atoms they do not move very fast why is that?

They do, about 1000 miles per hour, but they collide frequently so they don't cover much linear distance

This is very optimistic. Air basically doesn't conduct heat with a value of 0.026 no units. Thermal conduction implies collisions, but it doesn't seem like they really do collide, and other demonstrations explain this. And to make it worse, air basically doesn't ((N2 and O2, 99% of it) absorb or emit IR heat radiation. So, how does it transfer heat energy if it is very poor at both transfers of energy? And how is it we think N2 and O2 don't radiate IR: all matter radiates IR. Could it be we have that wrong? Yes.
