I’m going into week 4 of my post rotator cuff surgery and don’t want to go to rehab, since I’m a caregiver and I have bands, weights & everything I need at home to do it. Going to do your exercises slowly every day when I’m home from work and the broom handle one I can do at work with my client.

I am about to enter week 4 post arthroscopic surgery for unstable shoulder. I still have pain at night and sometimes pain like something catching in my shoulder when I walk or sit . I wonder if you had the same experience in week 3 towards week4

Shoulder surgery must be a lot easier than a humeral head avulsion fracture at the supraspinatus. I'm 10 weeks into "conservative treatment" and in my mid 60's plus I'm too slim and small I guess. But I'm in agony from scapula to wrist and still wear a sling to go out on a walk. No way to create a pulley system I'm afraid. I don't think being a widow with no children helped much and where I live the health services think it's none of their business to get you any assistance at home. And it's not like you can prepare for an accident the way you can for surgery. I wasn't able to rest as I should have. And did I mention it's my dominant arm? And the other one has an arthritic thumb? Thanks for your videos though. I'll watch through and use some of your good advice that I can follow. It's not the worst thing that's ever happened and there's plenty of terrible things happening to poor little children where they are being bombed and starved to death 😥. I do have access to food and electricity but goodness me, it's hard work this shoulder malarkey.

A few of us are having trouble with our shoulders dropping below our other shoulder level after rotator cuff surgery. I wondered if the shoulder exercises given here would help?
@physiorehab3 жыл бұрын
When you get into the scapula stability exercises you will probably see more change. The full exercise program is here: www.physiorehab.com/rehab-programs-shoulder-injury-surgery-rehab

Hi Tim, 14 months ago I fell and shattered my humourous proximal and I'm still dealing with the effects. My right arm range of motion is comfortably 90 degrees to the front and side, but I couldn't comfortably put my hand on my ass. Your videos on your early shoulder recovery are informative and doable for me - I wished I had found them earlier. I recently had an ultra-sound and was told by my Dr.. who's retiring next week, I have calcification in my bicep muscle and I'll have restricted ROI and pain for the rest of my life. Just to make matters worse, I'm 75. I'm active and want to get back on my bike and maybe even golf. What remedy is there for the calcification? Any advice or suggestions will be appreciated. Jim in Vancouver.
