Maam can you please explain the phase 3 of valsalva, when just stopped the valsalva,the fall in BP. Like during the 2nd phase of valsalva.the baroreceptor maintains BP, and it should continue to maintain BP till phase 4, when increased preloaded and CO inhibits the baroreceptor?

The intrathoracic pressure falls - so the total pressure falls (start and stop of manouver- the intrathoracic pressure is reflected)

Yeah it maintains BP..but if other stimuli cause further disturbance in BP, that level of afferent activity is not enough…
