I sit here in NHSland while my organisation is going through 3 restructures at once (!). I love the honesty when he says you can go into management to manage teams or 'helping to restructure the organisation'. That's what a lot of NHS management is - continual restructuring. I am in my second bought of employment in the NHS (1994 - 2002 and 2012 to present) and I'm seeing old ideas just come round and round with each new generation of managers. The managers move on to other things and new ones come up with the same old ideas. I know we need to keep up with a fast-paced world always in flux but strange how the same things just come back round. Keeps managers in work I suppose and off the streets. If you like spending inordinate amounts of time on the simplest project or endeavouring to make the easiest thing as complicated as possible, then maybe you should watch the film 'NHS management - is it for me?'.

I'm 98th percentile introvert, but great in 1 one 1 situations, and it's one of the reasons why people really enjoy my practice. I specialize in neurology and my clients usually respect the calmness, opposite-to-zumba practice we do.

@Pathologyformedicalstudents2 жыл бұрын
No , Physiotherapy is not very difficult to study. But one needs to understand the topics well and everything is gonna be easy for you😊
@flaminmongrel6955 Жыл бұрын
do not listen to anyone telling you "physiotherapy isn't difficult" its usually the ones who don't know anything about physiotherapy you come up with this BS you'll have to go through medical subjects and more than dentals students so if you think BDS' medical side is hard you should find physical therapy harder.

Is there much difference between a Physiotherapist and a Occupational therapist ?
@viiperbiite3 жыл бұрын
Yes. I can't decide between the two. The major difference is that most OT's *don't* get to diagnose or medicate like physios do but still get to make treatment plans. OT's can work in multiple settings (clinical and non-clinical) whereas Physios generally work in clincial settings and sometimes schools. OT's have more options (they can work with disabled people, those with learning disabilities, mental issues, children, sometimes physical injuries and improving people's lifestyles by determining what equipment they need in their homes and treatment/lifestyle plans) whereas physios tend to focus more on physical or neurological injuries and use a lot of physical exercise alongside medication, so they have to be reasonably fit.

@annaleeedwards377 Жыл бұрын
@@horsecodenumbers Bro, like I understand your pain but Physio treats way more complex cases than your particular case which youtube could fix. Plus, there are a lot of manual therapy that a normal person could not do by themself like stroke patients for instance. You're really limiting the field and its kinda like saying just use youtube for surgery. In many cases you need that one-on-one therapy that the internet alone could never help solve.
