I live in Tennessee in the States. I have craniocervical instability and I know I absolutely have vbi. MRA showed my right VA was sewing thread thin. They keep saying its a normal variant but I have all the symptoms. Gait issues, syncope or grey outs turning my head, trouble chewing and swallowing, leg issues and movement issues, strong visual disturbances and weak "dimmer" vision in my right eye with trouble focusing, severe daily occipital headache...all of it. No dr will order a CT with venous phase with my head in positions!

Hi both of you. When you come next time to my region, I might demonstrate you duplex ultrasound imaging of anatomy and bloodflow of vertebral and carotid arteries and a rich variety of pathologies. Well done, Günther

Some people present with less than clear vision, described brain fog, sleeplessness. This was a great presentation. Question. Is modern ultrasonography reliable for assessing the VA integrity , plaque build up or any lumen lesions?

I've been struggling with BPPV & Drop Attacks since having emergency surgery for a spontaneous detached retina in 2016 & in 2017 . Who do I seek treatment for Drop Attacks please? It doesn't seem like a lot of doctors are familiar about this. Thank you.
@Physiotutors6 жыл бұрын
BPPV usually lasts for a couple of weeks and should go away on its own. We'd recommend you to seek the help of a neurologist.

Have you tried atlas orthogonal? It is safe and is non invasive.

Hello, good afternoon from Spain, I have been diagnosed with a pathology called subclavian theft. Due to an occlusion in the subclavian artery. I have vertigo, dizziness, blurred vision, paresthesia in the arm. They're going to put a stent on me to open that artery. Do you think I will improve from those symptoms of vertebrobasilar insufficiency? Thanks

Ive been told that my atlas bone is misaligned could this cause problems with vbi?

How was this measured? We know that there is something called atlas therapy which is absolutel Hocus pocus, potentially harmful and not based on science at all

@@PhysiotutorsI have this as well I believe. I palpated my own C1 joint with the use of the book: orthopedic physical assessment by David J. Magee. anteriorly and inferiorly from my proc. mastoid I found a bone protruding lightly, I'm also experiencing light irritating feeling in my sternocleidomastoid. I am planning on going to a manual therapist so he can put it back in place. this sternocleidomastoid pain started happening after I woke up with my head fully laterally flexed towards (i believe) my left.

Hello Dr., greetings from Colombia. One year ago I woke up with the worst headache ever and didn't go away with the usual paracetamol. After weeks with daily headaches and normal xrays and computer scans (except for a military neck) my doctor told me it could be myofascial pain. However, a few weeks later I started having the 5 D's symptoms, as you out it. And later, nystagmus and tmj pain. I thought it could be because of my jaw clenching at night but when an orthodontist took my mouth xrays, it showed an important C2 rotation to the right. Next week I'll be getting a cervical angiography to dee if there's blood flow insufficiency. What would you think is the next propper step in order to fix this rotation and thus, the symptoms? Thanks!!

@@lordzmusic8461 No . I did not experience stroke after the above intake. Only I felt heavy weight while walking. That is the problem.
