Im suspecting i have it for the symptoms are exactly those described everywhere.That said I probably have something else as i have experienced unsteadiness for years.I recently noticed that these unsteadiness feelings (but not bppv symptoms)are alleviated by things like spirulina.I am way too thin and I can't gain weight.Can all this be related?

At 4:17 you give reference to a study that says no after-maneuver precautions are necessary. Could you please tell me what that reference is again? All I heard was 2010. Thanks!

You might want to change the thumbnail! 👌It is written « Sermont » instead of Semont. Nice video as always!

I have terrible vertigo especially when I am laying down and move my head...I wake up spinning and my ears ring. I get dizzy when I move my head, but is it possible to have BPPV, but not have the crystals in my ears? My ear doctor told me I didn't have any crystals..... but I still get dizzy with head movments

Which manuver is best if neck movement is restricted i.e spondylosis which manuver is best for BBPV
@Physiotutors4 жыл бұрын
They all need 45° of neck rotation

And.. there is also Brandt-Daroff manouver. Can you tell us something about this?
@sathvikacharya25855 жыл бұрын
All of the maneuvers are somewhat similar . Like HALL PIKE DIX , Epley, Brandt daroff . Basically to relocate the dislodged otolith . Now Brandt daroff involes turning your head to 45° then turned to left side . Next upright sitting position again . Then the same maneuver to right side. again upright . All these phases have to be kept for 30 secs each . Best if you do these ex for atleast 5 times 2 times a day .

Can BPPV happens in 22 age ... ??? I'm 22 and I feel like my head is moving all the time and can't see properly , It occurs when I wake up and remains same throughout the day ... What should I do
@Physiotutors3 жыл бұрын
It definitely can. Would contact a local health provider to make sure it's BPPV and not something else.

Please help me to get it straight: If Dix Hallpike test gives us nistagmus when turning the head to the right, we turn the head to the right in the Epley's first step, but to the left in Semont first step. Is it like this?
@dfryer12223 жыл бұрын
I think your first turn in either maneuver is towards the affected ear. But I'd ask a doctor or PT to be sure.
