In Australia we date things day/month/year not month/day/year So 14/03/2019 I always get confused on trailers Here I was thinking "there's no 14th month!"

That's like all that's going thru my head at all times but when i tap then my teacher gets mad so I'm definitely gonna try some of these

@richardpike87485 жыл бұрын
Well I guess their definition depends on how big the circle is...

Er... π without the 5s isn't any shorter. 90% of ℵ₀ is still ℵ₀.
@ardinhelme6875 жыл бұрын
It's not inaccurate to say it's 10% shorter, we did subtract 10% of it after all, it just so happens that 90% of its length is equivalent to 100% of its length.
@calcul8er2055 жыл бұрын
Jonathan Haas who’s to say that the digits of π are equally distributed (π still hasn’t been proven to be a normal number). Is it possible that the decimal expansion of π contains infinitely many 5’s but only a finite number of all the other digits or would that make π rational?
@FlyingDominion5 жыл бұрын
@@calcul8er205 That would mean that after the finite digits ran out the rest of pi could be represented by a repeating 5. That means pi could be represented as a fraction, specifically with 9×10^something as the denominator, and therefore a rational number.
@TheRealVoiceOfReason5 жыл бұрын
@@calcul8er205 No, that would make it rational. And Mind Your Decisions has a new video proving that's not so.
@TheRealVoiceOfReason5 жыл бұрын
@@ardinhelme687 Then could you not also say with equal validity that it's 20% shorter, or 50% shorter, or 86% shorter, since they all represent the same number? And I don't think you can prove that exactly 10% of π's digits are 5s, anyway.
