Levy, it is emotionally understandable that you often overthink against GMs, but consider this: If you are constantly worried that you might overlook something and be punished by the GM, that means deep inside you assume that you are actually worse. If you ever truly want to be a GM, the mindset you have to assume is this: "If I don't discover any problem with the move within a reasonable time, then my opponent likely won't either, because they are not better than me." You just have to trust that what you don't see your opponent won't see either. You can never become a GM if you are scared of ghosts and therefore don't make the best moves.

Just let them drown in their own inadequacy, none of them know what they are talking about. Just imagine having a life so shitty that you feel the need to go online and throw hate at someone like yourself, who is actually giving your best, trying hard to become better and to achieve your goals and dreams. They are just trying to feel better about themselves because they don't have the capacity to take such actions themselves. Keep cooking, keep fighting, keep learning. Interesting game.. I found it especially interesting how Pia did not get well out of the opening, but then somehow all those small moves: Re8, a5, Be6.. if white doesn't play optimally, then suddenly all her pieces are ready to burst in with good counter-play. I mean its one of those things that only GM with very good feeling and understanding of the position can do. I'm not sure most people can even learn that. Its like a gift you are born with..

You are an incredible teacher with so much love and passion for the game. Levy, love and support from Moldova 🇲🇩. Both me and my brother watch you. Chess has became a bonding experience for us, we watch matches and we participate at local tournaments sometimes. This is mostly because of you so thank you for your content and don’t pay attention to all the hate.

Don’t let yourself get all in your feels about losing to the former highest rated woman on Earth. Getting beat by a legend isn’t exactly anything to feel embarrassed about. You might as well get upset that you couldn’t kill a grizzly bear with your bare hands.

On an emotional note, I was very unsure for whom I wanted to root. I want for the both of you to succeed. At the end I rooted for Pia not lose due to the clock, because I felt like even for you it would be like "this is not how I want to win." I congratulate you for your strong game :-)

For those asking, the rating change in this game was ± 3.9 rating

I really admire how you remained calm during the whole match despite being low on time and facing a much bigger rating because it shows your determination. You held up very, very well, Levy! Don't listen to the haters, they wouldnt be able to lift a piece let alone win against Pia. Cheer up, be confident, and think higher of yourself! You have an army of loyal fans who are rooting for you, including me. I wish you luck in your journey :)

Regardless of this one match, you still are light years away the best chess content producer as far as I'm concerned. While people in the comments will antagonize you just for the sport of it, you are still forging ahead becoming a better player. Keep doing you, Levy. This was a good match against a monster of a player. We appreciate all the endless matches + analysis you provide us with.

What Levi should do, is to realize Pia's style is like a solid castle. He should be happy with draws in classical and farm points in rapid and blitz. Levi's new "try to win" mentality is working against him.
@MartialCardist23 күн бұрын
Agreed. You need to understand who you are playing against.
@jericosha284223 күн бұрын
Nah. It's about learning, not settling
@mazenkovski23 күн бұрын
Not true at all. His mentality "try to win" works really well for him, the problem is he wants to back away from it mid game, hence why he didn't play bishop d6 and c5. He really needs to go all-in on the mentality.
@utetennisfan545823 күн бұрын
Doubtful he'd be able to draw against her in 4 games of classical. She's also got a higher rating than him in rapid. He had chances to win today, and going for GM, he should play to win, not play to draw.
@fangiscool123 күн бұрын
Pia is also the favorite in rapid and blitz. There's no "farming" in this matchup. Pushing for every win matters

I saw you reply under the pinned comment and decided its time to say a few words. First of all, i have been watching your channel for a couple of years now (before 1mil), and you are one of my role models, not just for chess but for life in general. I have seen your growth, from just a chess tutor to one of the biggest chess content creators and motivator. I truly love your content, whenever i feel low in life, your videos lift me up and keep me back on track. Don't forget that if you have thousands of haters then you also have millions of fans, we are always with you and will continue to support you. I hope i see you as a GM one day, keep smiling and make others smile.

The reason why Levy's comments are so negative is because he usually pins the negative comments. Kids love attention .

Hey, your match was great. You bringing Pia down from 15 min advantage to almost none, even gaining a minute over her in certain moves was crazy. Great Job! You and Anna were my introduction to chess and I'm really grateful for that. Just wanted to let you know there are more than just 11 yos who always comment immature mean stuff in the audience.
@jonoxes866223 күн бұрын
25:35 in fairness Levy, you were playing very well, you were better through out most of the game. Keep the spirrit up and make it a close game, the classical is probably her strength and the speed formats are yours. I'm rooting for Pia but good luck :P

I never comment on videos but to follow others. I appreciate your easier to understand recaps and teaching. Ignore the negative comments. There are many regular adults who also like to watch your content.
