Batterie Knopfzelle: LR43 1,5 V
Grind power contacts (+,-) with Dremel-Tool before soldering.
If your clock does not work anymore:
-dissassemble case
-unscrew PCB-board with 2 middle screws
-clean both sides of the contacts for the display with isopropanol or alcohol
issue might be bad contact through the 2 screws of the mainboard. Test it by hooking up 1,5 V to power terminals (polarity !) and slightly pressing against PCB-board. The display should show something.
