Happy Chinese New Year! This one is basically a rework of my earlier video 2 years ago. Patched up some awkward moments and added some new sections. Songs quoted in this work: Gong Xi Gong Xi (恭喜恭喜) by Chen Ge Xin Gong Xi Fa Cai (恭喜发财)by Andy Lau Gong Xi Da Jia Xin Nian Hao (恭喜大家新年好) by Liang Ping He Xin Nian (贺新年) by Timi Zhou (might want to omit the composer name if you are looking up this one on youtube)

This is great!! Sorry if I'm being obnoxious, but can i make one suggestion? Maybe at places like 0:42 you might consider adding intervals based on 4ths in the arpeggios. That might give it a more Chinese feel. I love your writing though. Thanks!

this is certainly very grieg (especially the third movement of his concerto), from the very opening to the final measures. i think that in the b section theme, it may have been better to replace that dotted-quarter + 3 eighths with just two dotted quarters (first appears in m. 87). other than that, this is great all around (:

Would you want to try compose symphony of Rachmaninoff's style, based on the 云宫迅音? The Rickroll was soooo good last time!

@@jun_wu You can check this: kzbin.info/www/bejne/l6S2f3aPorKke6ssi=DrpocVwXttX9DRB4 The Blackmyth developers modernized the original version, and sounds way more like a romantic piece now. This is why I had the idea “what if it’s Rachmaninoff”, with all those arpeggios and broken chords hehe😆 Thank you soooo much❤️❤️❤️

Hey, I'm actually composing a piano concerto but a problem I have is that I can't make the staves of the instruments dissapear when They're not playing. At the end I finish having a solo piano part with all the other instuments are below and above. Nice Concerto by the way!

If you are using musescore, you can go to Format > Style > Score, then tick hide empty staves

@@lindorsibande(I'm not Jun Wu) I'm still using MuseScore 3; I've heard that MuseScore 4 has a much larger instrument sound library, so I'm guessing Jun Wu is doing something with that beyond basic instrumentation.
