Max Von Sydow was a perfect choice for Ernst Stavro Blofeld. That is one thing I wish the actual franchise did was find one single actor (Donald Pleasance, Telly Savalas or Charles Gray) to remain as the head character of SPECTRE. @@vickidianacoghlan8946 Connery's wish for Scotland to be independent from Britain was a political one not a geographic one. It's very similar to Britain's exit from the EU - Britain will no longer have political ties to Europe but that doesn't mean it stops being part of Europe. I note from your playlist that you have a Donald Trump video. Can I assume you are from the U.S.A.? This may explain your lack of knowledge on Britain/foreign affairs. We are stepping away from the point though, your original comment was the name Bond sounding British but not Scottish. This doesn't make any sense as I mentioned in my previous post Britain is an island containing several countries (Scotland, Wales, England and Northern Ireland). Any name from any of those countries is British. The common misconception (among Americans anyway) is that Britain is another word for England. It isn't. And it's quite frankly insulting to the Scots, Welsh and Northern Irish who are just as British as the English. By the way, the name Connery isn't even Scottish, it's Irish. (And yet he remains Scottish and indeed British) PS - If you had read the Bond novels you would also know that James Bond is actually half Scottish and half French/Swiss but grew up in England :)
