Hey... There's a correction in this PDF that u have uploaded.... Correction : 1.Go to the 7th Measure and check the G clef portion. The actual Note is "E"C B and u had written it "D"C B. 2. The "A" (G Clef) Note in 8th Measure is Not a Crotchet. Actual Note is Quaver. 3. Let me find the rest ..😜 Hope u will correct the PDF and will upload the latest one ASAP Thank you Love from INDIA, KERALA

First song I learned on the piano. My mom bought a piano (instead of the couch she was suppose to get WHICH was the first step in my parents divorce 😁) and was playing this song while I was upstairs in bed going to sleep. And I kept asking her to play it again and again and again.....I was 5 yrs old! The next morning I got up, went to the piano, and figured this song out completely! It was the beginning of my journey to becoming a classical pianist at 5 yrs old...... Love you Mom...... Greatest skill I have ever acquired in my life time and I'm so blessed to be gifted with such a talent.

I am a, just a day away from age 69 year old lady, currently studying Method Level 5 the treble clef and bass clef. I now see why while watching this video that it is so important to take your time and really get this down pat. I will slow my pace down some more to be sure that my fingers and eyes can work together to get the notes and rhythm correctly every time so that the muscle memory will be there in the future for when I learn pieces of music like this.

Looking forward to practicing the whole piece and tying it together. This video has been really helpful when I've been unsure of what or how to play, tho I do not agree with all of the fingering. You're a very, very good instructor. Thank you for not talking down to us and showing us techniques that will help us to improve our playing. This video helped me solve a minor timing issue I was having with the theme change and now I've got it! Also, great advice to students to try their own fingering positions; as it is better in many cases to discover your own technique to play a passage. The numberings can help us grasp how one might play something, but it certainly is a concrete rule that anyone has to following a particular fingering position.

The secret to learning these are... breaking them down to just a few seconds of the song at a time. Every little bit you learn will build you confidence!!! Im in the same boat as you and every little piece I learn amazes me and I just fall in love with the piano over and over [that first section takes me a week... everyday playing the same stuff over and over... messing up... starting again... constantly but it eventually starts coming together and you feel like a million bucks everytime you get it right!!! :D ]

I noticed that D in bar 7 is different to E you had in sheet music I downloaded from one of your other videos. I wondered which one was 'correct' (I left a comment earlier). Well, I googled it and found a complicated story. If anyone's interested search for 'Beethoven, Für Elise WoO 59 - Do you strike the right note?' The short answer is you can play either, as it's not clear what Beethoven intended!

Can I suggest an alternative fingering for the chromatic scale @ 22:35 Some of you might find it flows better to use 3 1 3 1 3 2 1 (ie 3 and 1 for consecutive black then white and 2 and 1 for consecutive whites) of course there are many ways, but I find this is a good way of keeping it clean as the pattern is constant... just a thought!
