Thanks for sharing your thoughts on these nice looking blades. I heard you say something about civivi clips. Which of the brands on your table having matching holes?
@Archetype_EDC9 сағат бұрын
Hey, so far ive found that civivi clips will fit Kizer and CJRB/Artisan the best, these ones are almost the exact same, especially CJRB. Then theres obviously Civivi, We and Sencut. Other brands that work with the clip are Hogue, Vosteed, Kunwu, and some Kansept knives. There are a few other random budget brands I have that take them as well such as Hightron. Bestechman will accept them as well, although the clip recess can sometimes get in the way. Hope that helps 👍

@ Super helpful. Thank you! For some reason I’m constantly bending my deep carry clips. Tired of taking them off and on to straighten them out again so I plan on buying a Lynch or 2 that I can move around if need be.

Solid lineup. The mini grouper surprised me. But I have only heard great things about it.

yea it kinda stands out, but lets see. There will be one final video where some may come and go. It is such a good knife tho, my outdoor experiences with it and the lock strength pushed it into the top 10

Good line up of knives. Have you tried any of those pivot button lock style knives?
@Archetype_EDC18 сағат бұрын
Hey, thanks and no I havent tried those yet, no real want to try it either. I love lock innovation or anything new that improves knife lockup on folders, but i'll be skipping on those for now. Maybe sometime in the future perhaps, they do look cool 👍

Nice! I regulate my knife pickups to 1 per month the keepy finances in check. This month I picked up a new spyderco dragonfly in K90 blade steel and swapped the scale with a brass flytanium brand handle kit, they are nice, came with bronze washers and a titanium back spacer. Last month was a GEC SFA Clerk and this next month I hope to get either a 2nd balisong or a Rike knives Alkaid. The Pulsar and Django are looking sweet. Carbon fiber polished dlc? Haha you arent a fan of flippers at all I assume? Happy holidays dude!

Looking good. I like the Ironfly blade. Had no idea about the brand. What country are you in?
@Archetype_EDC18 сағат бұрын
Thanks, and yea that Ironfly knife is an awesome one. They just added it to their page not long ago because the website was just full of heavy liner locks. Then this appeared and it was pretty much an instant purchase. Im in S.E Asia, probably not far from you. Long term running joke for the channel (that I dont take super seriously) is that I never really reveal the current county Im in. I guess your home country is up there in your name?

@ I understand, that’s cool. Yes, my username gives my location away. I tried to sell some of my blades here, but only got one inquiry that didn’t pan out. Really like your channel!

@@CamboTriton Thanks bud appreciate it a lot. And yea probably not much of a market there if you are in Phnon Penh, Central market sells pot metal replicas for super low prices so a majority of people arent going to think that 50+ dollars for a knife is fair at all. I did see one store that was selling a lot of Ganzo's when I was last there, thought that was quite cool, upgrade to the usual skull covered crap But like with all things, the right connections help a lot, wanna reach those expats, not the type that pass out at riverside but the ones with more disposable cash. Anyhow love this part of the world, grew up in Malaysia and loved it when compared to dreary old UK. Cheers and have a good one!
