Many thanks to J.Gabriel for sending this behemoth of a padlock over the pond for us Brits to play with. A really fun padlock to pick and to play with. I realised after filming the video that I didn't show the key bitting very well. It really is fantastic for a picker. Kinda looks like a wood saw with all the ups and downs you could want from a key!

These locks are supposed to be one of the hardest of Masterlocks to pick, due to the usually awesome bitting, 6 pins, and the heavy spring tension on the core

Awesome video buddy, really enjoyed that! I've watched a few of your vids over last few days and i'm enjoying them and certainly picking up some tips. I've managed to open a couple of master locks so far, just the easy ones, so still very much a beginner. Subbed you for sure mate, great channel, and looking forward to more of your vids : ) All the best mate, Jay

Very nicely done sir! Great job and you're going to get your hands on one of my CLs. I've been slowly but surely making pins - rattlesnake, pin in pin, stainless pins, as well as catastrophe pins, and whatever else I am able to conjure up at the moment. Thanks for the video and maybe soon I can get an open on one of them!

@@Dmaclocksport well looking at the pins that you have made as well as other people in the locksport, I can't be a slouch and I have to be very imaginative and resourceful. Something that I learned from the person who inspired me to start making my own pins and that's Lock Noob. A few simple words that was inspiring to a comment I left on one of his videos, which planted a seed and it has grown. I also have to say watching videos of other people who have made security pins have helped with fueling and feeding my imagination. You will be getting your hands on some challenge locks of mine. I have been in the process of making a lot of security pins and plan on making a bunch more so I can put together a whole lot of locks and send them out.

@@Dmaclocksport well I'm waiting for stuff to come in to try to attempt to make stainless rattlesnakes as well as possible triple pin in pin. Right now at the moment I really haven't been picking a lot of locks but I do sometimes set everything aside and give it a little pic here and there. Mostly just going through ideas in my head and trying to bring them to life and usually when I get going on pin making it's just what I see in the moment I go with. When I get it all filled up on that pinning tray then I'll take a photograph and put it on Instagram maybe Reddit. To be honest with you, there's some pins I'd love to make, but I do not have the tools for me to accomplish some of the profiles of security pins that I want to do, but I do my best with what I got.

I've found that pressing the shackle in while picking locks with heavy springs makes them easier to open. I doubt I could do that with the 19 as my hands are not nearly as big as yours, but maybe you could.

I have a troll master lock I use, it's a Kik cylinder padlock but I put a medeco cylinder inside, but the cylinder face is blank (does not say "medeco" or "UL") so it looks like a special keyway or something not a medeco

Can this be raked? I just saw a #17 raked and it kind of bummed me out, I'd love to be able to use a Master Lock that didn't have any real weaknesses, I know the brass key way can be drilled but that's going to make some noise, raking is much more clandestine.
