I think it was Dan Webster at HPE Automotive that built this. You want to get a go of one of his Lotus Elise K20 conversions, they are immense! 700kgs 250 - 300bhp.

The w30 MRS is a brilliant chassis. So good its rumored Toyota and Lotus came to an agreement that the 2zzge wouldn't be used in the mrs as it may have impacted on the success of the series 2 Elise.

@DannyDC2 That said there's feck all concrete evidence to back it up but a few well established Toyota people have hinted at it. And it certainly ties in with Toyota's business model, they profited nicely from it and took on zero risk. Built a good solid corporate relationship too hence 2grfe Evora. A Uk company down south is working on a conversion for k20 MX5's BlackCatMotorsport. They build turbo manifolds, exhausts, rollbars and all that kind of stuff, you should look them up to see if they will let you have a go when it's finished!

I love integras for their engines and trans. It's still a restrictive chassis. The mr-s will allow you to grow as a better driver without having to blow Porsche money.

Danny please be careful driving down roads that u dont know like that. I was doing the same thing a few years back and some twat in a bin lorry (that shouldnt have been down the lane) cut a blind bend as i was doing probably 40 mph going round it, i went up the bank to avoid him but we still collided. The road was wide enough for 3 cars so i was sure id be alright if anyone was coming and bang. Police sided with him and said i was driving too fast for the road conditions (it was a national speed limit!!!?) Over 2 years later and still suffering with 2 slipped discs. Not trying to be a killjoy as i still love fast driving and want you to carry on driving fast too, but just be safe with it man. You are clearly a really good driver, but sometimes it just takes one idiot to temporarily fuck your life up. I think i speak for all your subscribers when i say i love watching your vids and would miss them if the worst happend. Also on that note, cheers for all the great vids!

I've never driven any of them so I know nothing, but here's how I felt upon their release. The 1st one, meh. The 2nd generation turbo, I loved the style! Even now when I see one, I have to do a double take. Then the MR-S was just a letdown. With that chassis, it deserved more uumph. But not this one... it's just brilliant!😍 Bummer about the rain, but during the course of the week, there will hopefully be a few dry spells. There's nothing like blasting through the curves in cooler weather, with Autumn color starting to pop. This is my favorite season for that very reason.👍 Whatever you do this week will be great, just keep the camera going as much as possible, mate. What I would like to see is, more of what you have at the end of this video (minus the slowpoke)... just raw footage of you enjoying the car for what it is. Have fun, Dan!🙋

Not sure i'm quite ready to move on from my mk2 turbo for one, but I reckon next year i'll be ready to try something new! Not sure what ideas you've got yet but a road trip of some sort would be cool, definitely a few duggits. Look forward to it, maybe you'll convert me completely.
