Have a lil rust also. So some oil and scotch bright that it right off? What color SB?

I used 800 grit sandpaper, so red SB should do the trick

If ya don’t mind me asking I’m taking my spare k20z1 head to shop to have super tech valve job done . About a round about of how much they charged to do yours ??

If memory serves I think it was 700 for all the work. I had a 3 angle valve job done and it was resurfaced and all the parts I had purchased were installed along with new guides and whatnot.
